We were extremely pleased with Grassmere’s services on this project. We were kept informed on a regular basis of the progress and communication was great between management, architect, site supervisor, contractors and us as the client. The site was kept secure and tidy during the course of construction as well.

Spriet Associates provided the required engineering and Grassmere Constructionof Tillsonburg was awarded the tender. Grassmere not only completed the work on time and on budget, but also under very difficult weather conditions. They demonstrated an ability to adapt the project in order to counter construction challenges (on-going flooding of the basement), but also a restoration expertise sensitive to the design and construction of the period.

We wanted to take a minute to stress how impressed we are with how you and your sub contractors dealt with the site issues immediately and treated this as an urgent matter. We appreciate your patience and persistence when going back and forth over the cost condensing and modifying the scope of work to align with our funding model. I would also like to express our appreciation for your respect to our local staff and residents, and if this is how Grassmere Construction treats all their projects, we would be more than happy to continue to work with your team in upcoming projects.
