The Challenge:

Tillsonburg, ON

This was an addition and renovation to the existing building which was originally designed and constructed by Grassmere in 1989.

Grassmere had to add a 2,500 square foot service drive-thru into the retrofit of the existing dealership. The project had to be constructed during the winter months while the dealership remained in operation.

The Grassmere Solution:

Our proposal was to incorporate the existing showroom and the new service drive-thru under one common roof envelope, utilizing a combination of Butler’s Metal-over-Metal (MOM) and Slope Build-up Retrofit System.

Utilizing signage, we kept the site safe and comfortable for our client’s personnel and their customers.

The Result:

Grassmere was the preferred contractor because the owner had a favourable track record from the original building construction and they were anxious to repeat that achievement.

This successful Ford dealership overhaul included:

  • An upgrade with a 2,500 square foot service drive-thru complete with new service advisor stations to meet customers.
  • A new entrance tower
  • A modern interior showroom with clean features and energy efficient light fixtures.
