The Challenge:

Chippewa, ON

This project comprised an administration office as well as multi-tenant units. Building to code was challenging as was financing. Grassmere therefore helped coordinate the finance requirements.

The Grassmere Solution:

We erected a Murox building as a way to help expedite this project because these have pre-fab structural wall panels that arrive on site with windows and doors already in place. Grassmere also hired local contractors on the reserve.

The Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) was the anchor tenant and helped finish the tenant buildout.

The Result:

Working closely with the client, we constructed a very nice office complex. This project also helped Grassmere develop relationships with tenants, and we subsequently returned to fit out different rental units.
